The Friendship Circle exists to create meaningful relationships between individuals with and without special needs through interaction between participants and teen volunteers in classes and other programs held at The Chai Center in Dix Hills, NY.
We bake delicious artisan sourdough wheat, rye and pumpernickel breads. We put adults with autism to work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Your purchases help us to teach baking skills and employ individuals with autism that find it difficult to gain employment elsewhere. All proceeds support the Friendship Circle Bakery and programs.
At our bakery, we believe in using only high quality flours and ingredients. We don't use preservatives or dough conditioners. Additionally, everything is prepared and baked under the supervision of Rabbi Yakov Saacks, an avid sourdough aficionado himself! We want you ordering our high quality kosher bread again and telling your friends about us!

A delicious cinnamon and sugar swirl in a pan loaf loaded with raisins.
